Online bank transfer service for childcare fees

This is a service that enables you to apply for direct debit payment of childcare fees (new account or changes) via the Internet from your home computer, smartphone or tablet.

It eliminates the need to prepare paper documents or stamp them with a registered seal, and it saves the trouble of mailing documents or bringing them to the counter. It makes it easy to set up a transfer account from the applicable financial institution, so please give it a try.

Those eligible to apply and financial institutions (please check the service hours in advance)

1. This is for those who use licensed childcare facilities.
   *For certified childcare centers, small-scale childcare businesses, home-based childcare businesses, workplace childcare businesses, and residential childcare businesses, payments are made directly to the facility.
2. Limited to individuals who have a cash card for a regular savings account at one of the financial institutions listed below.
   *Rakuten Bank and PayPay Bank do not require a cash card to apply.

Applications cannot be made through the Internet account transfer acceptance service with financial institutions other than those listed above. If you wish to have your account transferred from a financial institution other than those listed above, or if you wish to apply in writing, please complete the account transfer request form.

Transfer date and start date of account transfer

• The transfer date is the last day of each month, except for the 28th in December. If that day is a bank holiday, the transfer date will be the next business day.
• It will take one to two months for the new direct debit procedure to be completed, and you will be notified when it is complete. Until then, payment notices will be sent to you through childcare facilities, etc., so please pay at a financial institution, etc. by the due date.　

What to prepare

• Documents that can verify the name of the financial institution, branch name, account number, etc. to which you wish to transfer funds (bankbook, cash card, etc.)

　*The information required to enter when applying varies depending on the financial institution.

• The online account transfer service is available only to individuals who have a regular savings account cash card. (Childcare fees cannot be paid from corporate accounts.)
  *Rakuten Bank and PayPay Bank do not require a cash card to apply.
• After completing the procedure,Notification of commencement of direct debit of childcare fees" will be sent to the taxpayer, so please keep the registration completion email until you receive the notification.
• The online direct debit service only handles new or changed direct debits. If you wish to stop direct debits, you will need to submit a separate notification, so please contact the City Hall Operation Support Division.
• There may be times when the service is temporarily unavailable due to system maintenance by financial institutions and related businesses.
