Regarding the implementation of the project to secure childcare workers (loans to childcare workers)

Business overview

To secure childcare workers in the region, and to prevent childcare workers from leaving their jobs and support the reemployment of potential childcare workers (those who have the qualifications but are not working as childcare workers), the Fukuoka City Social Welfare Council, a social welfare corporation, has been offering the following two loans since August 2016 as part of the "Childcare Worker Talent Securing Project."

Partial childcare fee loans for childcare workers with preschool children

As a nursery teacher in Fukuoka CityNursery schools, etc. (Note 2)We will provide a loan to cover part of the childcare fees for those who are newly employed or returning to work after maternity or childcare leave.

Eligible borrowers

A person who meets either (a) or (b) above and is a childcare workerXNUMX hours a week(Note XNUMX)Those who work for more than

  • (a) A childcare worker with a preschool child who is newly employed at a childcare center, etc.
  • (a) A person employed at a nursery school, etc. who returns to work after maternity leave or childcare leave.

Half the childcare fee for preschool children, up to a maximum of 27,000 yen per month

Other Information

If you work at a nursery school for two years, you will be exempt from paying back the money.

Providing job preparation funds to potential childcare workers

As a new childcare workerNursery schools, etc. (Note 2)We provide loans to those who work in the area to cover the funds necessary for employment (such as relocation expenses and rental property deposits).

  • Those who meet all of the criteria (a) to (c) and are eligible to work as a childcare workerXNUMX hours a weekThose who work for more than
  • (a) Those who have been registered as childcare workers for one year or more; orThose who have been registered as a childcare worker for less than one year, but have been registered as a childcare worker for more than one year since graduating from a training facility or passing the childcare worker examination.
  • (a) Those who have left the following facilities or businesses for more than one year or those who have no work experience:
    • Licensed Nursery School
    • Kindergarten cooperation type certified nursery school
    • Family childcare business
    • Small childcare business
    • In-office childcare business
    • Kindergarten
  • (c) Those newly employed at a nursery school, etc.

Within 200,000 yen

*If the effective job opening ratio for childcare workers in Fukuoka Prefecture, according to the Employment Security Services Statistics (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare) for January of the fiscal year preceding the year in which the loan application is submitted, exceeds the national average, or if the area is designated as a disaster-stricken area, an additional 200,000 yen will be added, bringing the total amount to a maximum of 400,000 yen.

  12. Among unlicensed childcare facilities, facilities that provide childcare under the city's independent childcare policy
