What are after-school children's clubs?
These programs are aimed at children from families whose parents or housemates are not available due to work or other reasons when they return home after school. They provide a place for children to play and live, and with the support of after-school child support workers and other activities, aim to promote the healthy development of children.
The operation of the clubs is entrusted to the "After-School Children's Club Management Committee" of each school district, which is made up of representatives from parents who use the clubs, the PTA, elementary schools, local government organizations, etc.

Target children
Children who live in Fukuoka City and are enrolled in elementary school, and whose parents or cohabitants are usually not at home during the day due to work or other reasons, and therefore cannot receive proper care at home after school hours are over.
