My child isn't going to school and is staying at home.
The Comprehensive Child Consultation Center (Egaokan) offers telephone and in-person consultations for children who are not attending school. First, we accept consultations over the phone, and then you come in for an in-person consultation with your child. As the in-person consultation progresses, many children are able to attend school.
However, if you are unable to go to school, there are "adaptation classrooms" that can help your child return to school and become socially independent. If your child is able to attend a small group class after the interview consultation at Egaokan, they can enroll in the adaptation classroom.
The Board of Education also dispatches "Mental Friends" (college student counselors) to homes. Please consult with the school first.
