Online registration of medical opinion data for specific chronic childhood diseases (for medical institution personnel)

Application procedures for designated medical institutions for chronic pediatric diseases

The Koman Database (DB) has been released since October 1, 2023.

Designated physicians who wish to use the Koman DB, as well as their affiliated medical institutions, are asked to refer to the information below and make preparations for using the DB.

To use the Koman DB, you will need to apply for an ID and password (PW).
If you would like to use this service, please apply in accordance with the following procedure.

Schedule after application

When applying for designated doctor ID and password only

  • Registration in the Koman DB will be done around the end of each month.
  • After registration, the medium (CD-ROM) for using the Koman DB will be delivered to Fukuoka City in about two to three weeks. The medium will then be sent to you along with a notification of your designated doctor ID and password.
  • It is expected to take approximately one month from application to receipt of notification.

When applying for a designated doctor ID and password together with a designated doctor application (designation, change, or renewal)

  • The procedure for designating designated physicians will continue as before.
  • Registration into the Koman DB will take place around the 15th of each month.
  • Once you receive the media for using the Koman DB, we will send you a designated physician designation notice along with a designated physician ID and password notification and the media.
