Regarding the use of services for children with disabilities (after-school day care services, etc.)
What is support for disabled children?
Based on the Child Welfare Act, day care support for children with disabilities is a service that provides support such as instruction in basic daily living skills, training necessary to improve living abilities, imparting knowledge and skills, training to adapt to group living, and promoting interaction with society, mainly through attendance at facilities etc.
Depending on the condition and age of the user, the support for disabled children is divided into services such as "child development support," "after-school day care services," "visiting support for daycare centers," and "home visit-type child development support." In addition, there is "disabled child consultation support," which provides consultation and creates plans for the use of services.
