About the after-school support program for special needs schools

1 Business overview

The city of Fukuoka has commissioned social welfare organizations to carry out this program, with the aim of providing children and students attending special needs schools with a place to engage in after-school activities, as well as ensuring that parents who care for children with disabilities on a daily basis have time to work and find respite.

(1) Location

  • Higashi Fukuoka Special Needs School (Sakura Room)
  • Fukuoka Chuo Special Needs School (Strawberry Room)
  • Minami Fukuoka Special Needs School (Room Minami)
  • Yakatahara Special Needs School (Acorn and Bamboo Shoot Room)
  • Wakahisa Special Needs School (Tanpopo Room)
  • Nama no Matsubara Special Needs School (Donguri Room)
  • Imazu Special Needs School (Honobono Room)

(XNUMX) Implementation time

  • Weekday
    After class ends until 6:30 PM
  • Saturdays and long holiday periods
    8:00 AM to 6:30 PM

  *The event will not be held on Sundays, national holidays, or from December 29th to January 3rd.

(3) Usage fees

  • Half day use
    500 yen per day (620 yen for Imazu only, as there is a shuttle service)
  • Daily use
    1,000 yen per day (1,240 yen for Imazu only, as there is a shuttle service)

  *If the total monthly usage fee exceeds 3,000 yen, the user's fee will be capped at 3,000 yen.

(1) Children and students attending special needs schools and who have an address in Fukuoka City
