Local childcare consultation service

In Fukuoka City, we have set up "community child-rearing consultation centers" in children's plazas and daycare centers that provide consultations, advice and information on child-rearing in familiar locations where children and their families can easily drop in.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have about your child's growth and development, or how to interact with children!

Consultation staff

Child guidance counselors, clinical psychologists, licensed psychologists, nursery teachers, people with experience in child welfare and social welfare services, etc.

Consultation method

Face-to-face consultation

A children's plaza with a child-rearing support concierge on-site

• Primarily aimed at families with preschool children.
• Childcare support concierges (staff members who have licenses and work experience as childcare workers or kindergarten teachers, and have taken the necessary training) will be available to assist with your enquiries.
• A child-rearing support concierge will be on hand to answer any concerns you may have during the child-rearing period, and will provide information and advice on education and childcare services (daycare centers, kindergarten care, etc.) that suit the needs of each family.
• On opening days, a child-rearing support concierge will be on-site at the Children's Plaza.
• As a general rule, consultations will be conducted during the opening hours of each facility, so please arrive with plenty of time.
• No prior reservation is required for childcare consultation.

(Reference) In addition to the above-mentioned Children's Plazas, the Child-rearing Support Concierge also visits child-rearing social salons held at community centers and other locations to provide on-site consultation services. Details of the locations and dates of these salons will be posted on the websites of each Children's Plaza and in community center newsletters as they become available.

Public nursery schools

• In principle, this program is for families with preschool children.
• The director and supervisor will be available for face-to-face consultation.
• Consultations require prior reservations, so please call the contact details below.
• Consultation times vary depending on the nursery school. In principle, we will arrange consultations during the nursery school's opening hours.
