Loan Program for Promoting Advanced Vocational Training for Single-Parent Families

Outline

We provide "entrance preparation funds" and "employment preparation funds" to single-parent families who are using the Advanced Vocational Training Promotion Grant to attend training institutions and aim to obtain qualifications that will be advantageous for employment, and we also provide "housing support funds" to single-parent families who are actively working towards becoming independent.

About entrance preparation funds and job preparation funds

Eligible persons

 Those who meet all of the following requirements

  • Residing in Fukuoka City
  • Higher vocational training promotion benefitis a recipient of
  • I intend to complete the training program at a training institution, obtain the qualification, and work for 5 years in Fukuoka Prefecture in a job that requires the obtained qualification.

Loan amount

  • Admission preparation fee: up to 500,000 yen
  • Employment preparation fund: up to 200,000 yen

Regarding exemption from repayment obligations

If the borrower completes the training course, finds employment in Fukuoka Prefecture within one year of obtaining the qualification, and works for five years in a job that requires the acquired qualification, the entire debt of repayment will be forgiven.

About housing support funds

Eligible persons 

Those who meet all of the following requirements
□ Living in Fukuoka City
□ Mother-child and father-child independence support programs have been developed
In principle, you are receiving child support allowance 
*Even if your income exceeds the limit, you will still be eligible if it has been less than one year since you were granted the limit.

Loan amount

Within 7 months of the actual rent for the house you are currently residing in (up to XNUMX yen)
*Rent includes management fees and common area fees.

Application method

Please submit the following documents to the address below.
1. Application for the Single Parent Family Advanced Vocational Training Promotion Fund (Housing Support Fund) Loan (Form No. 1)
2. Single-Parent Family Advanced Vocational Training Promotion Fund Pledge (Form No. 2)
3. Residence certificate showing all household members (including registered domicile, no My Number, issued within the last three months)
4. Copy of Child Rearing Allowance Recipient Certificate
5. Documents verifying the amount of rent paid (rental agreement, etc.)

* Only the first loan may be delayed due to procedural reasons.

Regarding exemption from repayment obligations

If an unemployed person finds employment within one year from the date of receiving the loan, or if an employed person changes jobs or otherwise obtains a higher income than they had at the time the program was established and continues to be employed for one year, the repayment obligation will be fully forgiven.

How to return the item

If the above requirements for exemption are not met, you will be required to repay the loan in one lump sum within a period twice the length of the loan period (number of months) in equal semi-annual or monthly installments.

Notification and submission forms

Those who wish to apply for a loan in the future or those who have already received a loan will need to submit the following forms at specific times. These documents will be used to determine whether or not the loan can be granted and whether or not you can be exempt from repayment, so please be sure to submit them. Please note that if you do not submit them, you may be asked to repay even if you meet the requirements for exemption from repayment.
