Can I designate a Japan Post Bank savings account as the account to which the child allowance will be transferred?
The account to which child allowance payments are transferred can be any ordinary savings account at a financial institution, including Japan Post Bank.
As a general rule, you cannot designate an account for anyone other than the recipient (such as your spouse or child).
